Chelsea is about big profile names, just ask Steve Sidwell. Sidwell, one of the more quiet players like Shaun, made a name for himself with Reading and was even regarded as one of the most promising young midfielders in England. His move to Chelsea changed all that, as his low-key personality and lifestyle was overshadowed by Chelsea’s grandiose players. He was buried among similar players with all their potential & his talent seemingly forgotten.

Shaun’s return to Man. City is good news for the game. The league will be happier now that we’ll be able to watch an exciting player like Shaun out in the pitch, rather than see him ride the pine for another season.

A consistent starting role will push him to become a star player again in the EPL. A smaller stage in the Eastlands will benefit a low-key player like Shaun. And at only £8.5 million, Shinawatra is able to spoil Mark Hughes by getting him his man.
